Neil J. FitzGerald

Neil is an acoustic guitar player who has been performing in Northern New York, Vermont and New England for over 40 years. Neil performs an ecclectic mix of acoustic originals that take on a jazzy new age feel.  Neil has studied in the Windham Hill style, attending workshops with Don Ross, Alex Degrassi, Andy McKee and Antoine Dufour.  Neil continues to explore the use of harmonics and percussive beats to create beautiful melodies.  Neil's earlier recordings, "Dusk Til Dawn"' and "Natural Discovery", have been revisited along with new compositions to create a new recording called "From A Window". Mixed and mastered by legendary sound designer Gerry Putnam at Cedar House Sound in New London, New Hampshire. "From A Window", represents the long journey to completing a lifelong dream. Neil's latest release, "Silent Woods", is a collection of his favorite finger style songs that span a 20 year recording career.  Four new songs and several past songs are rerecorded in real time for a live feel. This album was produced at Red Horizon Studio in Tunbridge, Vermont, with help from Vincent Freeman and The Underground Studio in Randolph, VT.  Neil can be booked for intimate events and house concerts via the contact page. Cheers.
